East Park
Hull, East YorkshireAbout East Park
At East Park there's something for everyone: you can take a stroll around 130 acres of parkland, brave a ride on their Wicksteed splash boat, visit the animal education centre or enjoy afternoon tea in the cafe! It's a location that lends itself to any number of pleasing pastimes, so whether you're craving action or happy to saunter you can find space for your pace right here!
If you're feeling brave then get up close to their indoor collection of snakes, tarantulas, millipedes and beetles! To calm your nerves afterwards, wander over to the paddocks and aviaries to see the furry and feathered friends. Guinea pigs rub shoulders with goats and sheep, whilst rheas run alongside deer, alpacas, wallabies and showy peacocks. Plenty of easily recognisable species for the smalls but plenty of interesting varieties and a few surprises to help keep the big jobs enthralled as well.
For a special treat visit the walk-through aviary. It's one of the largest in the country and includes Koi carp, waterfall gardens and exotic birds! A beautiful spot for a family photo, too.
It also offers a really great adventure play area with all the classic equipment and a few big surprises like trampolines and zip-wires! Maybe best not to mention it until you can verify it for yourselves though, save it for a surprise!
