Dingwall Leisure Centre
Dingwall, The HighlandsAbout Dingwall Leisure Centre
Dingwall Leisure Centre is a great place for a family splash about, especially during the dedicated Family Sessions. There is also a Games Hall offering sports such as volleyball, indoor hockey, basketball, badminton and indoor football, so there are plenty of ways to have some active fun!
The pool is traditional and measures 25m (82ft) by 9m (29ft), so there is plenty of space for lane swimming and other sessions. There is a Toddler pool with a water fountain that is great for the little ones as it is only 50cm (1.9 inches) deep, so it is a good introduction to the water.
Lane swimming and snorkelling are available throughout the week, plus dedicated Family sessions, which are restricted to parents (or carers, siblings, grandparents etc.), and provide a safe environment for aquatic family fun! The deep end of the pool is roped off during these sessions, and an extra lifeguard is on duty, which is great for peace of mind when you want to have fun. To ensure maximum enjoyment, there are also mats and toys for the kids.
(Adults may be interested to know that there is a spa pool and a steam room!)
Opening Times
Monday to Friday Daily 7.00am to 9.30pm Saturday and Sunday 8.00am to 4.00pm. Please check the online timetable for more information about swimming sessions.
