Inverleith Park
Edinburgh, Edinburgh and LothianAbout Inverleith Park
Just a little north of Edinburgh city centre, Inverleigh Park is a hub for sports, strolls and enjoying some rare sunshine.
This well-loved park boasts several peaceful lakes to walk alongside with a wooden boardwalk from which to spy the local flora and fauna; see if you can count all of the swans that call the park home! Then at the right time of year, the floral meadow is a lovely spot for a picnic, as is the sundial garden.
You’ll be spoilt for choice when it comes to family activities with tennis courts where friends and family can enjoy a little competition. Then there’s all sorts of other sports pitches to run around, as well as horse riding and nature trails to explore. There’s even a petanque square for anyone with particularly niche interests!
- Beautiful parkland for strolls and picnics
- Sports pitches and courts for physical fun
- See if you can spot all the local swans on the lake
