Sleaford Leisure Centre

Sleaford Leisure Centre on East Banks sits alongside the river Slea, a short walk from Sleaford train station. The 25-metre pool is great for lane swimming and lessons, and the Woodland Splash Area is a real hit with toddlers - just 20cm deep and kept warmer than the main pool, it's included with Swim For All bookings (children under 8 need an adult with them on a 1:2 basis). Family Fun Swims bring out the big floats and balls, and swimming lessons run from Swimbies right up to Rookie Lifeguard. There's also a gym, sauna and steam room, and over 30 fitness classes a week including popular aqua aerobics. It's a genuinely family-friendly, well-loved local pool.
