Set by The Thames, Beale Wildlife Park makes the most of its stunning backdrop by offering plenty of opportunity for guests to enjoy the scenery in the beautifully landscaped gardens, trails and lakes.
Things To Do
The wildlife park and gardens are home to over 20 species of animals including otters, monkeys, owls and the cutest ring-tailed lemurs! Get up close and personal with these beautiful creatures and learn more about the animals we share our home with! That's not all! They have a range of rare and endangered birds, from Green Winged Macaws to Sun Conures. Psstt.. the sun conures look so fluffy! That's not all! They also have a stunning deer park, a farmyard and a reptile house.
Fancy a chance to meet some lemurs, meerkats, capybaras, lynxes, artic foxes and more? Well, you absolutely can at Beale Park! They offer a range of animal experiences that allow you to get up close and personal with some animals and learn all about them with the Zoo Keeper!
Beale Wildlife Park is also home to an adventure playground complete with an aerial cableway, a paddling pool and a sand pit. There's even a Little Tikes Outdoor Village, perfect for younger ones with police cars, trikes, traffic lights and even a zebra crossing! Make sure you hop on the miniature train too for a great ride around much of the park! And it's included in your park ticket.
Beale Wildlife Park is home to more than just beautiful animals! There are so many beautiful garden spaces to explore. The Winter Gardens has a hint of the Orient with bridges to walk over and stunning views to enjoy. The lakeside border runs alongside the park's inner lake and has over 80 varieties of plants. You'll find a mix of tropical-style planting near the train station as well as a rose garden in the Diamond Jubilee garden. There's even an elephant fountain in the courtyard surrounded by lush trees.

Travelling by Train
Pangbourne train station is the closest station to the park. It is a 3-minute taxi journey to the park. It’s best to pre-book a taxi as there is no taxi rank at this station.
You can walk from the station but it's a 25-minute walk
