Many families take advantage of the park on a warm day, using the area's extensive network of cycle paths to pedal their way to the fun.
A game of football or Frisbee is always a must, before heading up to see the ducks at the pond or hanging out in the playground. Barry Sidings has its own circular trail, where you can spot a wealth of wildlife, and is also part of the wider Pontypridd Circular, which takes you for miles over diverse terrain including rugged open spaces, historic sites and ancient woodlands.
