Llanishen Leisure Centre features leisure pool with wave machine and water play features ideal for kids and families! There's also space to swim should you be able to prise them away from the flume, and they'll be grateful for the skills when the wave machine comes on! It's got serious swell so be sure to start in shallow especially if you're helping keep children upright, it's well worth gauging it from the shallower side of things! The flume is not a record breaker but it's more than enough to keep most kids pleading for one more go long after you intended to leave.
According to their timetabling there seems to be a soft play facility on site as there's a combined price available, as they don't go into detail however it's likely to be a small affair designed for keeping babies happy with one parent while the other takes the bigger ones swimming.
Elsewhere on the same site you can also find things like the badminton and squash courts, plus a snooker room and an indoor skate park! You need to bring your own skating equipment for this and it must include the relevant padding. Most of these facilities need to be pre booked but with a little planning you can extend your day in all directions without even getting back in the car!
