At the Colchester Castle Museum you’ll get the chance to re-discover life during the times of the Romans and Norman Invaders. Throughout it’s 2,000 year history you’ll walk in the shoes of all those that came before right up to the devastation of the city by Queen Boudicca, who led an uprising against the Roman Empire.
The Natural History Museum Colchester is free to enter and has lots of interesting and interactive exhibits that help to educate children about the local wildlife. Get hands on as you crawl through a super sized badger sett and use the microscopes to discover life in the dirt!
