February half-term is almost upon us and the stress has started to sink in… What to do with the kids?! We know it’s always a tricky holiday to think about because it’s still winter and there are still dark evenings… But don’t let that phase you, because there are plenty of ways you can entertain the kids when they’re off from school!
Whether you do indoor activities like making paper planets, walking amongst ferocious giants made of LEGO or immersing yourself in virtual reality. Whatever you want to do, we’ve got you covered with these super cool February half-term events!
Our Top Picks For February Half-Term
The Postal Museum, London
There’s so much to discover here, like the Mail Rail where you can uncover the story of the postal service beneath the streets of London and climbing a miniature train into the original tunnels. To explore interactive exhibits that bring 500 years of engineering and postal history to life.
But that’s not all, there’s a whole host of February half-term activities for the kids to get stuck into! From arts and crafts and storytelling inspired by their special exhibit, Dressed to Deliver, to storytelling sessions on the postal journey through time.
For those who are creative, you can create your own postal uniform with the Mini Designers exhibit or design your own good deed patch in the Mini Makers exhibit. And the best part is all the arts and crafts activities are included in The Postal Museum admission.
Please note places will be allocated on a first come first served basis and children must be accompanied by an adult.
Last but certainly not least, your little ones can immerse themselves in Sorted! The Postal Play Space, where they can play in a mini-town with streets, buildings, trolleys, pulleys, slides and chutes; everything to keep the little ones happily occupied!
You can book a Sorted! session without visiting the museum (from £4.00 and under 6 months go free), or you can purchase tickets for both experiences. Once you have added a museum ticket to your basket, you’ll automatically be able to book Sorted! on the next page.
