From craft sessions, Easter wreath making, plant-pot painting, pie-tasting and much more!!
At some locations, they even have a free Easter egg hunt! Tiny tots can enjoy a music and move workshop with their parents or all the kids can get crafty with Easter dEGGorating!
From Teddy Bear picnics, dress up, sensory activities and upcycling workshops – the kids will be thoroughly entertained this Easter.

Family Trails at Nostell National Trust
Imagine all the gardens and castles, you can explore. At Nostell, you’ll find that their gardens are alive with the sound of majestic bird calls. From loud and noisy roosters to tiny robins. You’ll find many feathered friends here on the family-friendly trail that will you get you outdoors and exploring! Don’t forget to drop into the woodland play area for all sorts of super fun. From zooming slides and swings to a 30-metre zip wire!
You can have hours of fun here as you learn more about the birds and enjoy exploring the best nature has to offer, as you explore miles of winding trails.

Well, at the Oriental Museum, your kids can find all the world’s Easter celebrations and get stuck into some fun activities!
They can make their own bunny to take home and discover all the fascinating and amazing artefacts on display and take inspiration for your craft activities.

Double Bubble Dome at the Arndale, Manchester
At the Arndale, you can literally bite bubbles made out of chocolate… All you need to do is sign up to enter the Double Bubble Dome and wait for a choco-tastic volcano to explode! Then hundreds of edible bubbles will fall waiting for you to catch, or should we say bite as many as you can!

The Wild Escape, Manchester Museum
An art project that encourages your kids to create a story about how their favourite animal escapes their habitat and the museum! It’s a chance for them to imagine how the animal would escape back to their natural habitat.
All the artwork will then be displayed as a collective work that imagines a better future for wildlife.
Creative activities are super fun to engage kids with, especially when it’s about their favourite animal!

Giant Flower Trail, Battersea Power Station
At Battersea Power Station, you’ll find a Spring Festival, celebrating the start of Spring and all things naturistic. Who said you couldn’t combine fun and learning together?
Head out on this outdoor activity and discover fun facts about 10 various flowers, complete the online quiz to get your very own scratch card! You’ll find loads of prizes to win.
But that’s not all – the free half-term activities go on! Enjoy some face painting, lots of fun at the Illustrated Playground, meet Colin the Caterpillar AND lots of cute and friendly animals. From alpacas and sheep to goats and more furry friends!

Visit A Museum
We know kids may not always find school a joy to go to, but if there’s one place that makes education interesting and fun, it’s museums!
There are so many that are free to enter, and you can spend a whole afternoon there or even longer! Whether you explore the huge variety of exhibits at the Natural History Museum, and head to the Horniman Museum to see your favourite dinos. Or visit Manchester Museum and Leeds City Museum where you can learn about ancient worlds and listen to your favourite myths and legends.
