Attraction Information
The Royal Landscape is a great place to take the kids for a day out. Fancy a walk? There are two gardens to explore, plus Virginia Water, which used to be the largest body of water in Britain and has plenty of wildlife to look out for, plus it is the site of a Chinese fishing temple.
The Landscape is an excellent venue for activities such as fishing, cycling, rollerblading, flying model aircraft and taking the dog for a walk. If you are bringing your dog, it is a good idea to check online before your visit as there are some areas where dogs need to be kept on the lead.
There is a children's play area for toddlers and younger children and plenty of space to have a picnic. A variety of events are held throughout the year, such as carriage rides and during the summer, children's entertainments such as outdoor theatres and puppet shows. Most areas are pushchair and wheelchair accessible, although places like the Valley Gardens, by their nature will not be so easy to reach.
