Beautiful and tranquil, Middleton Lakes is a mosaic of wetlands, meadows and woodland in the heart of the River Tame Valley. Several kilometres of trails lead visitors through a variety of rich habitats, alive with a variety of wildlife. Our play meadow has been designed for families. You're encouraged to experience nature up close and personal. Scramble up the grassy mound, find your way around the maze and much more.

The nearest toilets and facilities are located at Middleton Hall Courtyard, see website for opening times: https://www.middleton-hall.co.uk/the-courtyard/Our visitor hub is ran by our wonderful team of volunteers. Therefore opening hours vary, please contact us ahead of your visit to confirm. Our hub has light snacks, cold drinks, ice-creams and kids activities. Activities include seasonal activity packs and trails. Bug hunting and pond dipping kits are also available for hire for £3.Dogs are allowed on dog friendly paths.
