On site parking Free for RSPB members and £3 for non-members By train The nearest railway station is Wilnecote, 2.5 miles away. By bus The reserve is not currently accessible by bus By road Middleton Lakes is off the A4091, just six miles from the M6 and four miles from the M42, north-east of Birmingham. By car, take the A446, the A4091 (ignore signs for Middleton Hall which has a separate entrance) and then Bodymoor Heath Road. Other ways to get there As well as the Heart-of-England Way footpath, the Birmingham & Fazeley canal passes through the reserve.

The nearest toilets and facilities are located at Middleton Hall Courtyard, see website for opening times: https://www.middleton-hall.co.uk/the-courtyard/ Our visitor hub is ran by our wonderful team of volunteers. Therefore opening hours vary, please contact us ahead of your visit to confirm. Our hub has light snacks, cold drinks, ice-creams and kids activities. Activities include seasonal activity packs and trails. Bug hunting and pond dipping kits are also available for hire for £3. Dogs are allowed on dog friendly paths.
