About Royal Commonwealth Pool and Clambers
Edinburgh's Royal Commonwealth Pool known locally as ‘Commie Pool' the facilities here comprise an excellent 50m main pool with 8 lanes set aside, plus a slightly warmer 25m teaching pool for the smaller kids and a 25m diving pool too! There aren't any slides or whatnot but this does mean they'll get some actual swimming done, which is the only way they'll improve!
Elsewhere on site you can also find Clambers Children's Soft Play facility with party room, great for extending your day a bit further if the kids still have it in ‘em, particularly as there's a mutual discount if you're going to both! There's loads of top notch play fare from the baby agility gyms to the massive wavy slides with loads of chances to climb, bounce, chase and sneak in between.
There's a toddler zone included of course to keep little feet and fingers safely aside with their own range of entertainments and playthings. Plus they have a private party room too, so why not give it a thought for your little one's next big day!
