Millets Farm Centre
Abingdon, OxfordshireAbout Millets Farm Centre
Back in 1952, John and Christine Carter purchased Millets Farm, which was originally a dairy farm. Over the many years that have followed, it has grown the farm into the family friendly attraction it is today.
Things To See And Do
With the Millets Farm Shop, Farmhouse Kitchen Restaurant, Sprouts Play Barn, Pick Your Own, Farmyard Adventure Golf, Phoebe Woods, Play Area, Animal Walkway and popular seasonal events such as the Maize Maze and Pumpkin Picking, there's always lots going on around the site.
Over the 70 years we've been open, we've built close ties with our local community, regularly supporting local charities and organisations. We've become a space for our community to come together and create wonderful memories.
Millets prides itself on the freshness and quality of its home produce. In addition, locally produced meats and other products are carefully selected from local suppliers. Our team hand-makes many items every day of the week, and our loyal customers come back time and time again to enjoy them.
The animal walkway, play area, picnic areas, and Phoebe Woodlands are all free, but you can upgrade your visit by booking tickets to an event, Sprouts Play Barn, Farmyard Golf, or Millets Wildside. Our popular seasonal events take place throughout the year, offering families even more choice when planning their day out here in Oxfordshire.
The Farm Shop, Garden Centre, and multiple retail shops located around the site offer an extensive range of gifts.

What do other parents say about Millets Farm?
Mum blogger Mum's family Fun enjoyed a recent visit to Millets. She said:
"Through the woodlands you’ll find a castle maze, large tractor tyres for climbing and some games. We enjoyed getting lost in the maze and trying to race each other to the exit. It’s quite easy to see little ones, especially from the viewing points and isn’t too big so you can safely let littles have a go themselves."
