- Indoor and Soft Play Areas
The Hive at Shefford is a fun and exciting indoor activity play centre with something for everyone!
We have 2 dedicated play areas: Baby Soft Play area for ages 0 to 2 years with a ball pit, soft blocks and animals; and Junior Play area for ages 2 years plus, involving 3 levels with a bee slide, tunnels, puzzles, ball pit with a blowing machine, and many more exciting things to explore!
Parents can then relax in our Honey Pot Cafe with their friends and family, while still being able to watch their children's imaginations run away playing, burning off all that excess energy!
We serve fresh food and drinks in the “Honey Pot Café” from 9:15am till 4pm, with daily specials available.
Also don't miss out either on our regular weekly events during term time, which is included in your entry! Story Time with Queen Bee and Messy Play and Crafts... Please see through the DOWTK link for more details.
And if that's not enough, why not hold your son or daughter's Birthday Party at The Hive..!
Our parties run for 2 hours, with the 1st hour and half they have fun playing and afterwards they enjoy their party food at your reserved Party Table in the Honey Pot Cafe.
You can choose between a Cold and Hot Buffet consisting of a selection of traditional tea party food – sandwiches, pizza's, fresh vegetable sticks, fresh fruit, and unlimited squash!

A fun afternoon out! 5 out of 5 stars
Me and friend took our toddlers (a 2 and half year old and a 3 year old) and 9 month old babies. The 6 of us had lunch, and they catered for all of us easily (including the blw babies!) The girls had a fun time and the babies even had a nice little area to play in. Not the biggest soft play ever, but a lovely place, good food, friendly staff, and if go again tomorrow!MrsGM2002
