About Pentwyn Leisure Centre
Pentwyn Leisure Centre on Bryn Celyn Road, close to Lisvane & Llanishen Reservoirs, opened its swimming pool after a major two-year rebuild - and it's genuinely exciting news for local families. The 25-metre pool features two movable floors, the first facility of its kind in the UK, with adjustable depths from 0m to 1.8m, plus a separate slide area for younger children and a family-focused aquatic play zone. Alongside the pool there's a gym, sports hall for badminton and pickleball, an outdoor 3G pitch, and a popular gymnastics programme. Note the pool reopened via a phased approach with a full programme building through August 2026, so it's worth checking current session availability.
