Miniature Pony Centre

The Miniature Pony Centre is home to miniature ponies, tiny donkeys and a host of other breeds and animals, making it an enjoyable day out for everyone.

The traditional stable yard and covered barn provide easy access to meeting them, even in bad weather.

Why not come and join in, Groom a pony, feed the ducks, work the loader on a real tractor or even help to herd the ponies into the barn and feed them.

Children aged 3 to 10 are able to have a pony ride, each rider is awarded with a rosette, (there is a additional charge for pony rides, which run twice per day weather permitting).

There is a full programme of free hands on activities and displays every day. During the school holidays, children's entertainers perform on most days too.

Burn off excess energy in one of the many indoor or outdoor play areas, including: Fort Bovey indoor assault course, Horse Play indoor soft play area, The Little Foals play park, Dartmoor Castle adventure playground, mini tractors, zip-wire and trampolines.
