Kylemore Abbey and Victorian Walled Garden has plenty to keep the family amused, with lots to see and do for all ages.
Kids will love seeing the restored rooms of the Abbey and learning historical tales of romance and tragedy, plus there are 6 acres of walled Victorian gardens to explore. There is also an amazing Gothic church to investigate, and a number of restored buildings, including the gardener's house and glasshouses. The 1,000 acre estate offers plenty of space for walks along lakeshores and woodland, there are Nature Trails and a Children's Play Trail to follow.
The Play trail is sure to be a hit with the kids, as it has 22 play pieces positioned around the estate, all inspired by stories of Kylemore and made from fallen wood. Items include miniature picnic tables, whispering trees, musical instruments and more!
The admission price includes a history talk and guided tours of the abbey and garden, a guide booklet with map, an audiovisual presentation, and the shuttle bus to and from the Victorian Walled Garden. Accompanied children under 10 visit for free.

September - October: 9.30 am - 5.30pm November - March: 10.00am - 4.30pm April - July: 9.00am - 6.00pm July and August: 9.00am - 7.00pm Last admission is half an hour before closing.

Adult €13.00 Students aged 11+: €9.00 Seniors: €10.00 Family tickets available. Accompanied children aged 10 or under go free.
