Open most of the year, families can come and explore the 500m farm trail, join in exciting events and meet the many farm animals here. You can purchase bags of animal feed. Then, see, learn about and feed the animals
Interactive activities
Forge Mill Farm is home to over 300 animals including varieties of livestock, and rare breed cattle. There's also a lambing barn where at certain times of year visitors join the Forge Farm family for lambing time and witness the magic of newborn baby lambs! You can watch demonstrations throughout the year such as goat milking, pony bath time and meet the chicks. Plus, Forge Mill Farm offers exciting encounters with small animals like rabbits, pigs, and alpacas, providing endless opportunities for children to learn about the diverse world of animals! You and your little ones can get up close and personal with a wide variety of farm animals.
Tractor and Trailer Rides
We don't think any visit to a farm is complete without going on a a tractor ride. At Forge Mill Farm kids and adults can enjoy a fun tractor and trailer ride around the farm throughout the day.

Forge Mill Farm provides an excellent opportunity to interact with a variety of farm animals including rare breeds such as Tamworth Pigs and Leicester Longwool sheep. Visitors can meet and feed animals. This hands-on experience is particularly enjoyable for children, offering them a chance to learn about farm life and animal care in an engaging way.
Forge Mill Farm Shop
