Focal Point Gallery is South Essex’s only dedicated contemporary art gallery, based in Southend-on-Sea and open to all. Offering an exciting programme of largely free workshops, talks, outdoor film screenings and offsite projects, it also presents three major exhibitions a year featuring both international and local artists. The gallery’s aim is to inspire curiosity through producing and presenting thought-provoking art made today.

Printed information is available in Large Print and Dyslexia friendly formats. Transcripts are available where appropriate. Seating on request if not in situ. Relaxed sessions on Thursdays and Sundays from 11:00 - 12:00 lowered sound and lighting adjusted if possible for those with any sensitivity. Ear defenders and torches available for some exhibitions. Tours available on request for groups.Art Club on Sundays for 8-11 years, payment required, concessions available on request.
