About The Pumpkin Field
The award winning, Green Barn Farm Shop & Café has transformed from 28th September into the spookiest Halloween Hollow around. With a 15 acre field of pumpkins, a spooky Maize maze, a trick or treat mini maize and plenty of props and decorations for photo opportunities.
We have our own ‘Pumpkin Express,’ a vintage, open back Land Rover which will give our guests a bumpy, spooktacular trip around the field, all included in the £5 ticket price, where you will also get a pumpkin to take home. You can, of course, buy more if you wish. We advise to book soon via our website as we expect the event to be very popular.
The Maize maze consists of a note from Wendy the Witch, asking everyone to find the ingredients for her magical potion given to her by a great wizard. You must use the clues to work out what the final, most secret, and most likely revolting, ingredient is.
The café will be serving an array of autumnal treats, including pumpkin spiced lattes and pumpkin soup. Our bale pyramid, pedal tractors and resident farm petting animals will be available to ensure everyone has the best farm experience too.
We run events throughout the whole year, these include The Enchanted Christmas Barn (featuring the Grinch), The Cow Maize, The Sunflower Field, The BIG Easter Egg Hunt with animal petting, The Pirate Treasure Hunt and children’s birthday parties where they get to go on a ‘Cow Safari,’ pet animals and have their own room to eat their farm themed packed lunch.
During the summer holidays, we have animal feeding time at the shop, where children get to feed and stroke our pigs, cows, goats and ducks, every weekday 10.30 and 2.30. There is no charge for this during the summer.

Full of unique photo opportunites with a vintage feel, The Pumpkin Field is perfect for those families wanting something a little bit more personal and special this autumn. The Pumpkin Filed, is part of our award winning, farm shop and cafe and customers love the cosy and qaint feel of our farm. With animals available to feed, pedal tractors and a play area too, there is plenty to keep everyone entertained. With over a dozen varieties of pumpkin in 15 acres, you'll love exploring and noticing all the different shapes and colours.

We also have The Spooky Maize Maze, as a part of our Halloween activites. You have to find all the ingredients in the tall maize to create a magical potion. For younger children there is the Trick or Treat Mini Maze. Search and find all the hidden treats!
Completely unique, a little wacky but absolute fun!
Kids love us for our laid back and wacky approach to events. We encourage children to interact with our animals, get muddy and have fun. We offer parties which include our Cow Safaris, getting up close and personal with our 100 cows!
