Llys-y-Fran Lake is a beautiful attraction in West Wales. Located near Haverfordwest, Pembrokeshire, this picturesque lake is a part of a group of Welsh Water Adventure sites in Wales.
Following a major investment and development of the area the lake is now a hub for outdoor adventure activities. Visitors can enjoy stunning views of the surrounding countryside and the lake is a great place for a family day out with a variety of water sports and fun activities available.
Things to do
Llys Y Fran Lake offers excellent recreational facilities and plenty of activities for families. An outdoor activity centre provides the opportunity for a variety of Welsh Water adventures including water sports, open water swimming, fishing, cycling, hiking and even unique activities like axe throwing and archery.
There is a children's adventure playground with zip wire, swings and climbing frames. A nearby picnic area with picnic benches allows parents to easily keep an eye on little ones playing while they enjoy a cuppa and a moment to take in the countryside scenery.
Children will also love the Crazi Bugz off road driving experience. Specifically designed for younger drivers aged 6-16yrs the little electric cars take kids on an all terrain land adventure. An enjoyable experience guaranteed!

The Lakeview Cafe offers hot and cold meals with a seasonal menu available. Choose from meals like jacket potato or a lighter option such a coffee and cake. This lovely cafe has child friendly dishes too- perfect for even the fussiest eater!
