Attraction Information

If you're looking for something different to do outdoors with the kids, look no further than the Bournville self-guided treasure hunt themed Treasure Trail.

You'll explore all around this historical planned village as you search for the clues on permanent plaques, buildings and monuments.

The Trail can be done at any time and clues are designed to challenge all ages from 6+ - the grown-ups will also need to get involved making this a great activity for the whole family to get their teeth into.

Clear directions lead you around this 2-mile easy walking route - you dictate the pace but we recommend you allow at least 2 hours. Why not factor in a visit to Cadburys World whilst your there too?

When you've finished solving all the clues, you will have revealed the secret recipe to sparkling chocolate and, once you've checked your answer online, you can start choosing your next Treasure Trails adventure!

Fun afternoon exploring beautiful Bournville 4 out of 5 stars

We had a really good time exploring Bournville, which has loads of lovely scenery, parks and architecture. We split into two teams and raced to see who could do it fastest but it still took us just over an hour - so you get plenty of entertainment for a low cost. One tip I would give is to wear comfortable walking shoes and don't bring heavy bags - it's quite an active pursuit over two miles. I don't think this would be suitable for young children who would get bored and it wouldn't be much fun pushing a pram. That said, you could try it with plenty of breaks and a picnic along the way. Ideal age 8+ I'd say, best for older kids. Well worth it!
