Attraction Information
Steep grassy slopes, the ancient lake, historic buildings, wildflower meadow, old trees and hedges are a reminder of Abbey Fields' past, while the new play area contributes to the modern side with a fully fenced in zone for the little ones to run wild on the equipment.
It's also not unknown for those grass slopes we mentioned to have folks with sleds on it year round, not just when they're snowy! There's an excellent little Rain Garden near the playground, designed to soak up the wet and leave that area a bit springier!
Kenilworth's main park is ideal for families yet has a gloriously grown up back drop, set as it is in the dramatic valley of the Finham enjoying views of the historic town, the castle and the local church.
There is also a 25 metre heated indoor pool and a lovely outdoor pool is open throughout the summer, ideal for cooling the kids off after a good run around! You can also apparently catch a 'splosh' session too, but they're not quite clear what that is: treat yourselves to a surprise!
