Yes, Seaforce Powerboat - Boat Trips is wheelchair friendly and has accessible toilets. Our pontoons are wheelchair accessible. However, if you are a wheelchair user and wish to come out on a boat trip we advise you get in touch with us beforehand to discuss so that we can plan ahead.

Yes, there are baby changing facilities. Baby changing facilities are within the Riverside Museum, only during Museum opening hours. We are baby friendly: Ages 2+

Are all areas of the attraction accessible with a pushchair?

Yes, all areas are pushchair friendly. You can take the pushchair all the way down the pontoon to the side of the boat. However, there is no space onboard for a pushchair.

Yes, Seaforce Powerboat - Boat Trips is dog friendly If you book private hire, you are more than welcome to take your dog onboard. Please make sure your pupper is comfortable.

No, there are no dining options.

Can visitors bring their own food?

Yes, guest are allowed to bring their own food You're welcome to bring your own food, however we would advise that access to the pontoon is limited. There are benches at the Riverside Museum and Tall Ship to sit and enjoy ay food you may have.

Yes, there is parking. There is a paid parking area at the Riverside Museum carpark.

Does your attraction offer private hire, for parties or events?

Yes, Seaforce Powerboat - Boat Trips has stated that you can hire privately for parties/events. We offer a range of Private Hire options from 6-8 people max. However, with groups of children we are able to accomodate more people onboard. We regularly take scout groups out on the water so are well tuned in to working with children. Get in touch if you have more than 8 people!

Do visitors need to pre-book time slots or tickets to get into the attraction?

Yes, Seaforce Powerboat - Boat Trips had stated that you will need to pre-book. We have an online booking system. Check out our website for all upcoming rides. Can't see a date or time you fancy? Yes, there are toilets available to the public. We do not have toilet facilities on the pontoon. The toilets are situated within the Riverside Museum. The Museum is a 2 minute walk from the boat. These toilets are only accesible during the musuem opening hours.

Seaforce Powerboat - Boat Trips

Seaforce Powerboats, Kelvin Harbour, 150 Pointhouse Place, Glasgow, Glasgow and Strathclyde, G3 8RS, Scotland

Meeting Point Meet us at the slipway at Kelvin Harbour, located next to the Riverside Museum and the Tall Ship. Our meeting point is on the right-hand side of the museum as you approach. We'll see you at the top of the gate to guide you down to the pontoons.

From Partick Station (Subway and train), it’s a half-mile walk to our base next to the Riverside Museum.

There are very frequent trains to Partick from Glasgow Queen Street and they take about 10 minutes. There are also direct services to Edinburgh, but it’s quicker to change at Glasgow Queen Street.

Bus 100 from Glasgow Central station and Kelvingrove also stops outside. When you travel by train to Glasgow Central or Glasgow Queen Street, a Glasgow PlusBus ticket gives you unlimited bus travel around the city.

You can hire a bike using the 'Next Bike' app. There are several pick-up and drop-off stations around Glasgow, including the Riverside Museum.
