Muckross Riding Stables and Pet Farm
Located in adjacent to Killarney National Park the stables are ideally located for pony trekking with horses, cobs and ponies for all ages and capabilities. You can choose to trek for 1, 2 or 3 hours or even for half a day if you really fancy an adventure! Hard hats and boots are provided, but you must of course also dress sensibly which includes no zips on boots and soft seams on trouser choices please. These things are for the ponies' wellbeing and comfort.
Muckross Riding Stables provides immediate access to treks and trails in Muckross, known for its panoramic views of woodlands, mountains and lakes, plus the chance to see the red deer roaming freely in the Killarney National Park! Great terrain for exploration and wonderful backdrops for family photos.
Muckross Pet Farm is set on 10 acres with a wide variety of animals for you and the saucepan lids to visit, including ponies, sheep, puppies (bonus!), chickens, pot bellied pigs, rabbits, guinea pigs, donkeys, miniature goats, ducks, geese, deer and chickens. There are swings, slides and an indoor and outdoor play area here also so plenty to keep the small ones entertained. Pony rides for small children can be arranged too!

Free pet farm entry for all and free pony ride for children staying at Muckross Riding Stables. Otherwise a seasonal charge will be made.
