Looking to keep the kids entertained? Middlesbrough Sports Village has a large soft play area for kids aged 1-12 to explore. Home to twister slides, rope bridges, a sensory area and a separate toddler play zone too, you can take a well-deserved break and enjoy a cup of coffee at the on-site café whilst the kids play.
This four-floor soft play adventure is open to children aged up to 12 years old for play sessions and parties. There's a dedicated baby and toddler area. You can sit back with a cuppa and a tasty snack and let the kids enjoy their independence while they explore, clamber and play.
In total, there are 19 3G all-weather artificial football pitches at MSV, which allow for five-a-side games, all the way up to full-sized, 11-a-side matches. Wow - that's a lot of football! These are all available for both casual bookings and for more serious teams. Children's football coaching is also available.
There's both a 1km road circuit, as well as an outdoor velodrome to enjoy. The Tarmac circuit offers a fantastic opportunity for you and your family to enjoy cycling safely. It’s home to many local cycle clubs and can even host events. There are even adaptive bikes available for hire to give everyone the opportunity to enjoy the sport. Meanwhile, the state-of-the-art, 250m velodrome, features 30-degree banking at each end and is available for riders with Stage 1 or 2 (minimum) qualifications. There are Structured Quality Training sessions for riders aged 12 and over to really hone their skills.
