Things To Do

In the mood for a bit of climbing? If the weather is nice, it’s worth making it to the top of Highcliff Nab or Hanging Stone. There you’ll uncover stunning views over Teesside and the coast. Make sure to bring a camera, or a sketchpad and pencils, so that the aspiring photographers and artists in the family can get to work! Then grab the kids and head on a brand new forest adventure with The Gruffalo and recover his missing party items!

Brand New Gruffalo Party Trail!

Celebrate The Gruffalo's 25th birthday with a brand new forest trail! The interactive family trail will have you engaging with party-themed activities and games. As well as learning fun facts about the life of the Gruffalo and other forest creatures!

Two-Wheeled Adventures

Don't fancy walking? Well, you can always explore the beautiful forest on your bike! There are plenty of cycling routes all through the natural landscape, for any skill level.
