Things To Do
In the mood for a bit of climbing? If the weather is nice, it’s worth making it to the top of Highcliff Nab or Hanging Stone. There you’ll uncover stunning views over Teesside and the coast. Make sure to bring a camera, or a sketchpad and pencils, so that the aspiring photographers and artists in the family can get to work! Then grab the kids and head on a brand new forest adventure with The Gruffalo and recover his missing party items!
The terrain at Guisborough is perfect for mountain bikers and there is one cycle trail on offer. The Blue Cycle route is a moderate trail that is 4.5 miles long. This route includes lots of beautiful spots that will challenge your cycling skills and fitness levels.
Food & Drink
Head to the Guisborough Forest cafe at the end of the day to stretch your legs and bring your energy levels up with a snack. Nature lovers will adore sitting back in this tranquil environment. You can enjoy the same amazing views whether you are sitting at a picnic bench or reaching the end of the forest's walking routes.
If your little adventurers still have enough in the tank, there’s a kids’ play area to explore, as well.
