- Laser Tag
A 4 star winner championed by the Scottish Tourist Board the Laser Matrix welcomes adventurers over 7 to enter their multi level battle zone filled with dramatic music, flashing laser blasts and special UV art work! The whole place as you might have guessed is designed around the Matrix movies, so most of its major characters are excellently emblazoned about the walls in exuberant glow in the dark paints. Finally a legitimate excuse for all the sunglasses!
If you're not an aficionado then here's the skinny: laser tag is basically hide and seek with laser guns, you tag anyone you can see (unless you're playing a team option, then you have to be a bit more discriminating with your phasor fire!) and try to keep hidden and moving so you don't get hit much yourself. Completely sensation less and harmless the guns fire infra red lasers that simply register the hit on the equipment for you all to examine at the end!
And it's right next door to Funworld Play Centre too, so why not ease them back into reality after the battle zone with a mid way option before trying to shoe horn them into the car? It's also handy if you're packing non laser gamers as a pleasing alternative. And they offer party packages which combine a trip to both!
