Hough Green Park
Widnes, CheshireAbout Hough Green Park
Hough Green Park in Widnes is an attractive and accessible Green Flag awarded park with junior and infant playgrounds, a large open area, tennis court and multi-use games area. The playgrounds feature oodles of classic physical play features that are great for keeping the kids happy and healthy plus great for their gross motor and social skills. The park also boasts an interactive water feature so you might want to keep towels handy! It's not enormous but it's certainly sufficient to offer a cool down option for the warmer days and there are interactive jets, a tipping bucket and more besides to play around on.
So there's plenty to do so long you're up for it all, plus of course you can go on a mini beast safari, take a picnic, and bring bats and balls and kites and frisbees and sketchpads and cameras and alright maybe not all of them, but that's one of the great joys of a day at the park, you can pretty much make it whatever you want it to be and it's free! Huzzah!
