Attraction Information
BHS approvedBeechley Riding Stables was saved and is now run by a registered charity dedicated to providing equestrian fun and therapy for people with disabilities, though of course the able bodied are also welcome. General riding, hacking, dressage and show jumping are all available alongside a range of fully supportive lessons with staff trained and experienced in catering for the disabled rider.
They offer a 10 week riding starter course which is traditionally aimed at kids and teenagers from the local community, it's very reasonably priced and very popular so it's definitely one to plan ahead and get your name down early for.
They also offer Own A Pony Days for 6 to 12 year olds where they'll learn how to muck out, groom and tack up their pony as well as ride it, and they will get a certificate of achievement and a workbook to complete at the end. Lovely!
As a matter of interest this is also the home of K9 2000 Dog Training Academy, so check that out too if you've got a family pooch!
