Attraction Information
BHS approved Croxteth Park Riding Centre offer a variety of well mannered mounts for lessons, which are available from 5 years upwards in door schooling facilities and outdoor menage. With friendly and supportive expert tuition you'll have the trots in no time! Well, you know what we mean… Children start with a 30 minute lesson on the lead rein and progress to a 1 hour group lesson when the folks there feel you're ready.
Scenic countryside hacks available, subject to skill assessment. Those who are competent and confident up to canter level can also explore the peaceful bridle paths when the tracks are in good condition, so this has some weather dependency attached and you need to stay flexible off season.
Plus there's also a recognised Pony Club here with all the associated events plus camps and mini camps. Ideal for kids who can't get enough of the horsey stuff and want some extra hands on learning about their care, grooming and training.
Disabled riders welcomed and catered for too, plus there are holiday day courses and regular competitions. Loads!
