Returning this autumn - Sundown Adventures!

Back by popular demand. Experience tree top thrills in a whole new light across 25 locations for a limited time between 17th October and 9th November. Go Ape Sundown Adventures offer a new level of forest fun in the dark. Become a creature of the night as you climb through the canopy on a high ropes course lit with colourful lights. Test your skills on tree top crossings and experience the thrill of a zip wire ride into the darkness. It's a unique opportunity to enjoy the forest's beauty and experience the adrenaline rush of adventure after dark. The experience takes one to two hours, and the Go Ape team are around to help throughout. It starts with a safety briefing and harness fitting. For ages 6 and up (minimum height 1.2 metres) this is an adventure that will delight kids and adults alike.

Fun Activities for Thrill Seekers

Experience freedom as you swing high in the trees with a high ropes adventure. With an action-packed duo of adult and junior experiences, it’s the perfect place for thrill-seekers of all ages. Gather your troop and get ready for some serious treetop action - including a brilliant four-person zip wire (you won't find this at any other Go Ape location!). This epic challenge is only at Go Ape Chessington, making it an amazing location for adventure seekers everywhere. 

Tiny chimps in the group? Anyone’s welcome to have a go at the outdoor activity with the Treetop Adventure course, as long as they are taller than 1m. This means the whole family can experience Go Ape together in the picturesque woodlands. They'll face treetop crossings, wobbly bridges and of course, an exhilarating zip ride back down to the forest floor. 

Looking for even bigger thrills? Go skyward bounds and level up to the Treetop Challenge (suitable for anyone over 1.4m). Face challenging courses packed with twisty, wobbly crossings, and epic zip lines - did we mention it's a FOUR person zip line experience (which you can't find anywhere else!)? Not to mention the high ropes span a whopping 835 metres!

If you've had your fill of heart-thumping fun, you can always visit Chessington Zoo or Hampton Court nearby. If you're up for many more major thrills you should of course visit Chessington World of Adventures theme park.

Food & Drink

There is an onsite cafe that serves both hot & cold food as well as drinks. If you prefer to bring your own food with you, there are lots of picnic tables to choose from.
