Did you know The Derby is the most hotly anticipated horse racing event in the UK?! It spans over 1 mile, 4 furlongs and 10 yards! It's the race every jockey, trainer and owner wants to win - so it's the race to absolutely watch!

With a long and rich history, you'll discover lots about British racing at this family-friendly event during the May half-term, on the 31st of May and 1st of June! The wonderful Epsom Downs Racecourse will be buzzing with excitement not just for adults, but for the younger members of the family too.

Food & Drink

Picnics are welcome for free in the picnic area. You can even bring foldable chairs and tables, too! Their security team will check picnics at the entrance as limited alcohol is permitted per person. Please see their website for more information on the picnic policy.
