Attraction Information

Drive-Tech is a family run business, based at Castle Combe Circuit, offering Kid's Karting in Wiltshire for children aged 10 to 15 years old (min 4'8, or 142cm in height).

Here young drivers can learn top class racing skills, under the professional supervision of their marshals and experienced instructors. You can do the sessions as a 'one off' or you can go on to race in the Championship Races, so long as you're capable, it's completely up to you.

If the kids have never been karting before, they are classed as a ‘Novice' and will be started off with a safety briefing, following by driving and braking exercises, before going on to full lap driving sessions. Once that kids have been karting at Drive-Tech Ltd at least once, they are classed as an ‘Expert', Kids Karting 2 involves a Track Walk, plus the kids will be taught how to build up their speed, and the Racing Lines, before general safety awareness, full lap sessions, and practice races. It usually takes 4 or 5 level 2 sessions before the kids are up to race standard.

After the kids have been signed off as ready to race by the Race Director, they can compete in the Junior Championship Kart Races, which are held twice a year, in Spring and Autumn.

Junior Karting is run on the 1st and 3rd Sunday of every month throughout the year. Junior Karting parties are also available, with exclusive track action for up to 10 drivers."
