Conference Room The Museum boasts an accessible conference space, suitable for a range of events and meetings. The space is kitted out with a smart screen and data projector, ready for presentations. For video conferencing, we have installed a camera and microphone system. With a range of room layouts, equipment and catering options, we can ensure your day goes off without a hitch. For a seated event, delivered theatre style, the space can seat a maximum of 35. Our large, antique conference table can seat 14, with additional round tables accommodating a further 12. If guests will be standing and mingling, we can welcome up to 60 guests. Half day hire: £95 Full day hire: £150 Education Suite Our spacious Education Suite is the perfect venue for anything from a business meeting to a training course, hosting exercise class or a birthday party. With a range of seating options, a smart board, and projector we are ready to modify the space to your specifications. This area benefits from direct access to the Museum grounds. Full day hire: £125 Half day hire: £85 Meeting Room Are you conducting an interview or meeting up with clients? Why not book our meeting room. With enough seating for four to five attendees and access to a break room this is the perfect choice when you need a change of scenery. Please be aware that this space is located on the first floor. Access is via a flight of stairs and there is no lift. Full day hire: £80 Half day hire: £55 Book the Museum Need more space and looking for an unusual venue? Why not book the whole Museum for your event? We can host your trade show, expo, conference or gathering across our spacious modern display spaces. We can guarantee exclusive entry for your guests, use of a large drop screen, PA system and access to the additional spaces listed above for breakout sessions. Making your presentation, flanked by our enormous armoured vehicles and aircraft will certainly make for a memorable occasion. Contact us to discuss availability and prices. Catering options Tea, coffee and biscuits for your guests are provided as standard for any booking on arrival. For something more substantial, a range of delicious options can be provided by Crown’s Café from their onsite kitchens. The number 55 Stagecoach bus runs from both Swindon and Chippenham rail stations, passing through Lyneham in both directions. During the Museum’s opening hours the bus runs every 20 minutes.

The bus stop closest to the Museum is MOD Lyneham Main Gate, located on the A3102, less than 350 meters from the Museum’s entrance. The nearest train stations to the Museum are Chippenham (10 miles away) or Swindon (12 miles). The 55 bus runs to and from these stations and taxis ranks are located nearby.
