There are lots of beaches to choose from along the bay, the main one of which is Saundersfoot Beach. Situated right next to the bustling harbour, it has a special charm of its own. The sandy beach is well sheltered and ideal for family bathing. There are cafes and restaurants nearby, so an ice cream or hot drink is never far away!
The town itself is steeped in history. Get a glimpse of what life was like 500 years ago in the Tudor Merchants House, which has lots of its original features. The story continues at the Tenby Museum and Art Gallery where children can dress up as explorers and go out looking for woolly mammoths, go on a dinosaur hunt or create their own artistic masterpiece.
There are lots more dinosaurs roaming the woodland over at Dinosaur Park, where prehistoric predators are trapped in a tractor beam of time. Use your Tenby family day out to get close to your favourite toothy beasts, follow the nature trail and complete the quiz to become a dinosaur expert.
