Attraction Information
Tamar Valley Donkey Park is home to 27 donkeys to observe and pet, but also 16 goats, 2 pigs, 4 ponies and many more including the hold-able and cuddly ones like guinea pigs and rabbits. You can also feed most of the animals but obviously only with the food provided on site. By arranging on arrival you can take a donkey for a walk, something well worth doing for kids as they love the surrealism of it.
There are adventure play areas around the farm and mini ride on tractors, but now they also have a great indoor play barn, particularly handy for if the weather misbehaves but a major draw all on it's own so expect it to be busy. They've got all the usual gubbins on offer from slides and balls to climbing nets and hiding tunnels, with a separate area for the smallest kids with a few things just for them and plenty of well-padded space to just bomble about.
Bonus features include Donkey Bazaar, Cream Tea Cafe and popular annual Christmas grotto.
