Attraction Information
The Royal Mews is all about travelling in style with some the finest working stables in existence, and as a home to vehicles used for royal engagements - including a GOLD carriage. Cue up some serious Disney-themed fantasies!
You’ll get a behind-the-scenes peek into the department of the Royal Household which provides carriages, cars etc. for The Queen and Royal Family. See spectacular and historical vehicles like the famous Gold State Coach which was last used during The Queen's Golden Jubilee in 2002. In fact, it’s been a centrepiece at every coronation since that of George IV in 1821!
The Royal Mews are home to The Queen’s horses who have the proud responsibility of drawing the official coaches and carriages. If you’re lucky you may be able to spot them on your visit. Kids will also love the family activity trails or a trip to the learning room which offers up fun activities at weekends and during school holidays.
