Looking for something fun and engaging? Look no further than Play Lane and Play Lane Bakes. With our purpose built mini village for children to explore and play and a cafe for the adults to relax and treat themselves, it’s a great place for the whole family.
Older children?? Not to worry, we have our craft and baking centre located next door so there really is something for everyone.
Things to do…
We are conveniently located in Solihull Town centre with with ample parking, restaurants, shops and parks on our doorstep, to really make the most of your day out.
Within our play town, we have 9 play areas including a police station, fire truck, supermarket and pizzeria, for your children to explore. And don’t worry, we haven’t forgotten the adults!!! Our onsite cafe is open throughout each session, serving delicious coffee and snacks so grown ups can sit and relax or join in the role play fun!!
Directly next door, we have Play Lane Bakes which offers baking, cooking and slime/craft workshops for children of all ages with special themes throughout the year to keep everyone entertained.
At Play Lane, we love seeing children immerse themselves into our play sessions as role play is a great foundation for learning. Children can develop their social and communication skills whilst exploring and learning about their world through our mini village.
At Bakes, children will learn early cooking skills in a fun and interactive setting and they just love showing their creations at the end 😊
Parties
Play Lane and Play Lane Bakes are great venues for birthday parties. We offer exclusive use with all our party packages so and with much to choose from, there’s soemthing for everyone. Role play, pizza making, baking or slime are all on offer at Play Lane!
Play Lane is fully accessible to ensure every family member, regardless of ability, can enjoy the fun.

We offer parties for under 6’s at our role play centre, and children aged 4 and over, can enjoy a pizza making, baking or slime party ant our purpose built children’s kitchen!!
Experience and qualified team
We have a very friendly and approachable team who make Play Lane a great place to be. play Lane is run by an early years professional with 15 years experience, holding BA in education and completing a specialist teacher qualification.
Our baking team is led by a qualified chef, with experience of professional kitchens.
Our team leaders all have training in safeguarding and food hygiene and are al DBS checked and have first aid as part of their initial training.
