- Children's Farms
Visit Plantasia Atherstone with the kids for a day out at the farm - meet the animals, find your way around the UK’s biggest collection of permanent mazes and enjoy the views from the treetop walkways. Fancy teaching your little ones something new about nature? Keep an eye out for Sol, the talking sunflower, who will guide you on an interactive visit.
Take a trip around the world with the 6 hedge mazes at Maze World. Each maze is inspired by a different country, for example the Canadian Hedge Maze is shaped like a maple leaf and the African Reed Fence Maze - like a rhino’s horn. What your kids will love about them is that there’s a stamp to be collected at the centre of each maze. Gather them all and claim your prize!
At Plantasia Atherstone your tots will also make lots of new furry friends. You’ll get the chance to come up close to alpacas, deer, pigs, goats, ponies and many other adorable farm animals. Want to spot even more wildlife? Take a walk in the Woodland gallery, or enjoy a bird's eye view from the Treetop Trail. With all this exploring you may get tired out, so bring a picnic bag and enjoy a meal in the sun!

Disappointing 1 out of 5 stars
Disappointing afternoon out. Where was the tropical rainforest zone? Plantasia's own website doesn't advertise anything of the sort. Very misleading to say the least! We didn't come across it and it wasn't displayed on the map. Boring from start to finish. A waste of a day. Would not recommend or return. Also was not impressed with the sour old lady on the till who told my daughter not to play with a toy spider she placed on my shoulder as a joke whilst paying for our tickets. Very unprofessional! Lighten up!!The Ferguson's
Good for all ages 4 out of 5 stars
We visited today (Sunday) so this site needs updating as it’s open at weekends. We fed the fish and ducks, met the other animals, followed a trail to earn a badge and completed all the mazes- there are 6 or 7 before finishing at the play area. We found all staff friendly from the lady by the shop (the shop is being refurbished) who talked us through the site and the man by the farm animals who talked to us about the animals and let us help feed them. We only stayed for a few hours but I’ve been in the summer with a picnic too. We then visited the garden centre next to it too.Rjb
