You can skate every day at The National Ice Centre, the UK's centre for ice sports excellence, with a varying range of sessions designed to suit all ages and abilities, from disco to family sessions to adults only!
The National Ice Centre complex is the UKs first twin ice pad facility made up of 2 Olympic size ice rinks, one of which transforms into the Capital FM Arena, the biggest entertainment venue in the East Midlands. There are a range of skating sessions on offer to suit all ages and abilities every day, from the loudest disco to quieter sessions for beginners and families.
The NIC is also home to Ice Locker - the UK's biggest ice sports store, the Great Britain Short Track Speed Skating Squad and the GMB Nottingham Panthers: the oldest and one of the most successful ice hockey teams in the country! Top class facilities and coaching staff for a whole range of ice sports are on offer, from Synchronized Skating to Ice Hockey and Short Track Speed Skating to Figure skating!
Plus on-ice equipment available for support and fun include Penguins, Seals and believe it or not: Scooters! So come on, get your skates on!
