Jill Windmill, Clayton, West Sussex
Jill Windmill, a restored traditional working windmill, built in 1821, located in the South Downs National Park. Over the course of the year, Jill Windmill is surrounded by a succession of wild flowers including snowdrops and daffodils.
Jill grinds flour when wind permits. On Open days there is a souvenir and tea shop, a free car park and a picnic area. Admission is free and stoneground wholegrain flour is on sale to visitors on an occasional basis.
Most suited to children over 7 years old.
Disabled access to grounds and ground floor only. Jack Windmill is in private ownership and is not open to the general public
