Welcome to Flashpoint Swindon, Swindon’s newest and largest climbing centre, designed with kids in mind! Our facility boasts dedicated climbing areas for children, providing an exhilarating and safe environment for young adventurers to explore the world of climbing. With incredible coaching in our youth clubs, Flashpoint Swindon is the perfect place for children to develop their climbing skills and confidence.
At Flashpoint Swindon, we pride ourselves on offering a unique climbing experience that sets us apart from other centres. Our expansive facility, freshly updated in 2023, features world-class climbing and bouldering areas. From whimsical kids' boulders to the imposing "Beast" wall, we have something for every young climber.
Our NICAS Kids Climbing Club is a cornerstone of our youth programs. This UK-wide scheme promotes climbing development and accredits individual achievements on artificial climbing structures. Starting from age 7, children can join our clubs and benefit from expert coaching, free shoe hire, and unlimited climbing access across all our centres. Whether your child is a novice or an experienced climber, our NICAS club provides a structured and fun environment to advance their skills.
What Kids Will Love:
Climb the Castle and Kids' Boulders! In our newly expanded area, kids can enjoy lower-height boulders with fun and whimsical holds, perfect for little climbers. Our unique castle structure offers an exciting climb-through experience, ending with a thrilling slide. This area is designed for beginners and the youngest adventurers, ensuring they have a blast while staying safe.
Can You Conquer the BEAST? For more advanced climbers, our "Beast" wall is a must-try. This 45-degree, 10-meter freestanding wall is one of the UK's biggest and allows climbers to train on longer sports routes with the safety of a giant crash mat below. It's an excellent challenge for those looking to test their endurance and climbing prowess.

NICAS Kids Climbing Club in Swindon
Expert coaches, brilliant facilities, free shoe hire and unlimited climbing access to all our centres for club members! Our clubs follow NICAS, a UK-wide scheme designed to promote climbing development and accredit individual achievement on artificial climbing structures. They’re a starting point for people wishing to take up climbing and mountaineering, from novice to experienced, starting from age 7.
Climb the Castle and Kid's Boulders!
As part of our massive expansion in 2023, we added in a whole new area designed for small crushers to enjoy lower-height boulders, fun and whimsical holds and explore and climb through our castle and leave it via the slide! Kids are welcome to climb through the rest of the centre, but this area is perfect for beginners and the littlest adventures.
Swindon’s biggest bouldering centre!
World-class climbing and bouldering centre, freshly expanded and updated in 2023 with all new walls, a Kilter Board and a huge Auto-Belay wall! Incredible route setting and a massive selection of holds to ensure countless new and unique climbs with each reset.
