Before you even start on the delights of the flumes it must be made clear the you cannot ride if you are under 1.1m tall! So that said… The Falls is their open flume which pops outside the building then re-enters into a plunge pool! The Cannon and The Cave flumes also both exit the building, twisting and turning before diving back in for a splash down. The 4th flume, The Torpedo, is entirely indoors but it's fast and it's steep, and it's not for the yellow bellies!
Blue Lagoon is famous for it's wave pool, with 6 different wave styles working their way across to a gently sloping beach entry area. A cluster of water geysers bubble up near the beach for interaction, plus a water cannon and finger sprays shoot arcs of water into the pool. There's also a wave seat available, where disabled or less confident swimmers can just sit and experience the waves crashing past.
The Lazy River is a camera version where the currents will pull you gently along; unless you're at the After Dark event and then it's going to be a lot faster!
Plus outdoors you can find the heated open air bubble and spa pools, which you can access simply by following the river! These are for adults only, but with one of the pools allowing as young as 12 years so look out for that one.
The Baby and Activity pools in Nippers' Cove (their family only zone) are kept at a slightly warmer temperature (31 degrees) and there are family changing rooms available, so bring the little ones too! They'll enjoy the beach entry spots, being held during the lazy river ride and toddlers can get to grips with the water cannons and jets.
