The Village Church Farm
Skegness, LincolnshireAbout The Village Church Farm
The Village Church Farm is Lincolnshire's only open air museum.
A collection of Lincolnshire buildings which include a Grade II Listed Georgian Farmhouse which is decorated and furnished to a Victorian era. This venue is tucked away in the heart of Skegness and provides a family friendly site with interactive activities which includes feeding the chickens, story telling, skittles, bug hunts, dressing up and don't forget to drop in and see “Bob” the Hornsby steam engine.
From May to September on the first Sunday of each month the “Victorian locals” take up residence in the buildings. Try your hand at making tiny horse shoes in the blacksmiths, rag rug making and visit the wood turners in their Bodger's hovel.
There is a family of tiny harvest mice on site too. Tour guides are available to take you round the site. Tea room, shop, free parking and open access for wheelchair users and buggies.
Dogs on leads are welcome. There is a drink for them outside the tea room.
