As the summer holidays creep closer and closer, we’re here to bring you heaps of summer inspiration in the shape of our handy list of 15 July events and things to do in July. From theme park days out to farmyard fun and historic adventures – there’s a little something for everyone to discover.

The equinox has been and gone, which means it’s officially summer. When the wonderful (hopefully) summer weather takes over, we all want to go out and explore, so pick your favourite and dive right into the summer fun!

  1. Leeds Castle, Kent

From the 24th July, get ready to take on the Castle Kids Obstacle Course and climb, crawl and swing your way through this brand new obstacle just for kids. You can even join in with The Big Book of Leeds Castle-y Challenges, and go on a mission to complete 55 epic challenges!

  2. Day Out With Thomas, across the UK

    Day Out With Thomas
    It’s full steam ahead for summer fun at Day Out With Thomas! Thomas and The Fat Controller have come all the way from the Island of Sodor for a special celebration at a heritage railway near you. Take a train ride with Thomas, meet The Fat Controller, get in lots of laughs with Sodor Station Sweepers Rusty & Dusty and enjoy many more Thomas & Friends activities!

  3. Goat feeding at Chatsworth House, Derbyshire

    Ready for some adorable goats? Head over to Chatsworth House & Farmyard this July for a special opportunity to feed some adorable baby goats! Get up close to these cute kids in the farmyard and bottle feed these adorable animals, plus don’t forget to say hi to all of the other animals in the farm.

  4. Skylark Maize Maze & Funyard, Cambridgeshire

  7. Under the Moon at Longleat Safari and Adventure Park, Wiltshire

  12. Octonauts at SEA LIFE Scarborough, North Yorkshire

    Get ready for a totally roarsome time at National Forest Adventure Farm this July, as the dinosaurs are taking over! There’s plenty of great Jurassic themed activities to get involved in, including heading into the dino maize maze, a dino disco, and there’s even a raptor run to see if you can outrun the velociraptor!
