How high is the Snowdonia Zip Wire?
4 people can fly simultaneously through the air at speeds up to 125 mph! There’s no need to be scared when you can all go together, right?
What is the age range for the Snowdonia Zip Wire?
In order to take part in this activity you have to be 10 years old, a minimum of 1.2m height and a minimum of 30kg in weight. Anyone under 17 must be accompanied on the wire by an adult.

How long does the Snowdonia zip wire take to complete?
What should I wear?
- Make sure you are wearing either trainers or boots. Flip-flops and heels are a solid no!
- Your shoulders must be covered at all times.
- Shorts are okay to wear but make sure they are knee length.
- Waterproof clothing is advised.

If you take a trip further down to the South of Wales, you can try out underground zip line adventures in the Zip World Slate Caverns activity centre located in Blaenau Ffestiniog.
At Zip World Fforest (located in Betws-Y-Coed) you can explore the stunning views of Snowdonia as you fly 23 metres up in the air on the Skyride 2 (a swing for up to 5 people), or pair up and take a 100ft drop on Plummet 2. Take a 710 metre journey over the woodlands on the Fforest coaster – it’s the UK’s only alpine coaster! And what’s more? Kids can bounce and slide on Treetop Nets, face zips and obstacles on Tree Hoppers, and take on the site’s greatest challenge – the Zip Safari 2!
Zip World Tower, Aberdare is the fourth Zip World site to open and boy, oh boy, is it impressive! Seek out a ride on the Phoenix. This record-breaking adventure is the fastest seated zip line in the world as well as the steepest! If you aren’t up for the challenge there is always the Tower Flyer and a mini zip lining activity.
