New Rides and Attractions Opening in the UK

This is not a drill! Paultons is about to unveil a brand new ride, Ghostly Manor. An exciting and interactive dark ride inspired by the historic Paultons Manor and the park’s rich history.

Join the mission of famed ghost hunter Dr. Kinley, who has headed to the North Pole in search of the mysterious Ice Ghost. But the mischievous ghosts have escaped while he’s been away! Armed with your very own Phantom Phaser, it’s up to you to track them down and recapture them before they cause more chaos.

Keep your wits about you, though – Ohjee, the manor’s most menacing ghost, won’t be caught so easily!

Another year, another NEW ride! You can always rely on Alton Towers, one of the UK’s top attractions, to unveil another fantastic rollercoaster.

Now, we don’t know much about this one. But what we do know, is that it’ll be set in the Forbidden Valley… So, expect another dark and twisty fun ride!

Chessington World of Adventures Resort is planning to open a splash-tastic water park, and why not?! It’s the perfect addition, especially for families looking to have a splashing time at one of many Merlin Entertainment theme parks! It’s said to be around £30million to execute, so you know it’ll be absolutely smashing!

It’s rumoured to feature zip and zooming water slides, a wave pool, indoor AND outdoor infinity pools, a lazy river and even a spa… Can you imagine having an absolutely fantastic family day out and then getting to relax, refresh and renew at a spa before heading home? Yes, please.

The kids can have fun exploring the 2 level water park while the parents and adults relax in the infinity pools, gently floating along the lazy river or having a quick bite to eat in the bar/food area!

Some of the pictures of the proposed development feature elephant-shaped flume rides, with people zooming out the tusks! There also seems to be a children’s play area with buckets pouring water on you, an elephant shower sprinkler and climbing frames.

It’s shaping up to be really wild, and we will complete a day at Chessington World of Adventures and Zoo! All set to bring you a new adventure…if the planning is approved!

Christmas just got a whole lot more magical! Did you hear? The ever-popular and beloved festive attraction Lapland is opening another site in Manchester!

You can expect all the festive magic from the original location, snow-capped streets, jolly elves, cosy cabins and the big, red man himself – plus, a whole lot more! With seasonal treats, ice rinks and a visit to Mother Christmas’ kitchen, you can bet it’ll be a Christmas to remember.

The prehistoric sights will feature a brand-new 4-acre interactive experience and immersive adventure land based on the Netflix series – Tiny Pop and Disney’s series Gigantosaurus. This will certainly make the kids extra happy!!

With a new sensory play area and the encouragement to explore and play, your kids will have the times of their lives and, soon enough, have their favourite rides! You’ve all heard of Eden Project in Cornwall, right? Well, now there’s one being built up north, and it’s going to be epic!

Aiming to open in 2026, you’ll find an oasis by the bay. Morecombe has been a fab family and tourist destination, so it’s fitting to have a new attraction here! The brand-new attraction will combine indoor and outdoor experiences while connecting guests with the importance of the natural environment of Morecambe Bay! It’ll also focus on well-being with its peaceful environment, invoking a sense of wonder and inspiration for future generations in terms of sustainability!

Not heard of Toverland? You should visit the Netherlands on your next family holiday! Where you’ll experience an entire day of enchanting adventures and mystical magic. But the big news is, it’s expanding and will be introducing not one, but FOUR new rides in the Avalon themed area.

With Pixarus – a ‘Flight School of Magic’ where students will attend flying lessons on a roller coaster that will take to the skies! And the ride will be surrounded by the existing ride Fēnix, so there will be two adventures happening at once!

Next is Dragonwatch, a family-friendly drop tower. Packed with little thrills and gentle grooves for those who would love to view the theme park from above.

For the little ones, they can head out on a Garden Tour with Merlin to peak at his magical herb garden! With a garden spanning 130m filled with special flora and fauna, it’ll be an ethereal outdoorsy adventure. You can even meet the resident magical being Avalon!

Lastly, you’ll find Jumping Juna. A playful carousel with unicorn Juna and cheeky dragon Sparky. Hosting a fun costume party!
