We all know Thorpe Park is an incredible theme park, right? It’s full of thrills, adventure and rides not for the faint of heart… From horror-themed coasters like SAW – The Ride to the light-hearted Flying Fish. BUT we think you should put The Swarm on the top of your list.

Why? We’ll tell you.

Swarm Thorpe Park – The Experience

the swarm thorpe park

First of all, it’s got a really cool backstory behind it. Imagine a post-apocalyptic theme world, where a swarm of aliens have destroyed the world…

From smoking objects to burnt-out vehicles, The Swarm takes you on a journey like no other. Some say through wreckage itself. As you escape from the flying alien race, you’ll burst through a surviving billboard, fly through plane wreckage and drop under plane wing to narrowly escape the abandoned and rotating blades of a helicopter.

You’ll truly be in for an intense ride experience as you join an alien invasion on one of Thorpe Park’s incredible rides. With super special effects and immersive theming, you’ll truly feel like you’ve journeyed through apocalyptic devastation.

Did you know The Swarm is the UK’s only winged roller coaster?! So, you won’t be sitting on the track itself but on the side, with nothing above or below you, as your feet dangle…

It definitely won’t be a smooth ride as you hurtle through a post-apocalyptic world on a wing coaster that has you dropping, diving, twisting and soaring through the sky. You’ll face some real headchopper moments with the incredible elements of The Swarm. From start to finish you’ll be set on a dynamic and endless track as you travel through alien wreckage and apocalyptic scenes.
